Assisted Professor Charles Chang with the project: How Governments Communicate Climate Change on TikTok
- Used API and web scraping to collect environmental data from TikTok and Douyin from Jun. 2023 to Feb. 2024.
- Classified videos into environmentally related and unrelated, then categorized them further using a fine-tuned Large Language Model.
- Created charts on different countries and environmental issues over time.
- Completed paperwork and submitted to American Geophysical Union (AGU) 2024 conference.

Assisted Professor Yuen Yuen Ang and Professor Charles Chang with the project: Ambiguity and Clarity in China’s Adaptive Policy Communication
- Updated the data workflow
- Used API from Peking University Law School’s website to get Excel databases for the period from 1949 to 2021 in China.
- Used Python jieba library (NLP Model) to extract keywords from legal texts, applying a comprehension method to filter these keywords.
- Applied Bayesian classification algorithms to categorize vocabulary within legal documents.
- Created charts based on different leaders’ terms in office using pandas library in Python.

Big platform data analyst
- Participated in the development and compilation of the AI self-lecture scoring system of AstraZeneca University, fine-tuned the examination questions and answer results using a large language model. (The AI scoring system simulates the real scene of medical representatives visiting customers, scoring the quality of key information transmission, which reduces labor costs, avoids cheating in examinations, and improves teaching quality.)
- Used Power BI to design the billboard of AI self-talk meetings in AstraZeneca University, screening scores of more than 10,000 delegates according to regional and line managers.
- Used SQL and Excel to store and process data such as AI self-lecture, questionnaire filling quality, comprehensive evaluation performance of Avatar learning platform, teaching quality evaluation of AZU teachers, and maintained daily needs.
